Peter the Great is a founder of St. Petersburg and one of the most famous Romanovs. The controversial personality of Peter the Great who have turned Russia towards West and have shaken the patriarchal traditions of the Moscovite Russia was always attractive and much argued. This tour with two guided excursions introduces the early history of St.Petersburg when the thoughts of Peter the Great have come true.
Day 1: Arrival to St. Petersburg. Accommodation in chosen hotel.
Day 2: Saint-Petersburg. Sightseeing tour «The city of Peter the Great»: Kunstkamera, Spit of Basil’s island, Menshikov’s Palace, Peter the Great’s Log Cabin – the places that are as old as the city. Visit to the Fortress of Peter and Paul, the birth place of St. Petersburg an elegant example of Peter the Great’s baroque.

Optional: St. Petresburg by night – bus tour
Day 3: Saint-Petersburg-Peterhof. Visit to an amazing ensemble of Peterhof parks, palaces and fountains which for over two centuries was a summer residence of Russian tsars. You will visit Monplaisir and the Bath house.

Day 4: Saint-Petersburg. Departure.
